What that actually costs
The minimum stops applying once your homes are worth more than it, which is at 15 homes. After that it is $2 a home and nothing else.

What you never pay

How the bill is counted
A home counts if it is leased, vacant or being applied for. A home you have taken off the market while it is being worked on does not count, because it is doing nothing here. The count is taken daily and the bill follows it, so adding a home in the middle of a month costs the part of the month you used it.
